The home schooling responsibilities have been taken very seriously. The children studied animals in Seattle before arriving in Seattle, and wrote reports about animals. They have studied bugs, probability, long division and addition. They completed some wonderful art projects, including masks. Above, you see Susie and Jay looking at a bug under a microscope, and to the right, the Neilsons designing their own bugs. To the right is Anna delivering a report on her animal, (yes, the meerkat) -- nothing like the Kalahari for a background.
