The rangers here have worked hard to habituate the meerkats to people. The meerkats showed a liking for Anna! She became particularly friendly with one, who tugged on her hair. The meerkats descended into their burrows at night. Anna stuck her head into the burrow, so she had a little nose-to-nose contact with her friend.
